Lahore: A prominent religious scholar Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi died here in Lahore on Thursday night. According to family sources he was suffering from high fever and was facing difficulty in breathing.
Symptoms of his death was showing that he may have contracted Covid-19 as he has attended a large gatherings in Rawalpindi. He was present in the dharna at Faizabad a day earlier although the health condition was not good.

Death certificate issued by the Sheikh Zaid Hospital did not showed any illness as the hospital received the dead body of Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi. He had died before shifting to Sheikh Zaid. Earlier a private hospital in Lahore was treating him.
Some party sources told the media that he was facing the symptoms like pneumonia and severe infection of lungs and that may be due to cold at Faizabad.
His funeral prayer is scheduled here in Lahore today and a large number of people are expected to attend it.
Rizvi was a prominent voice to protect the honour of Hazrat Muhammad PBUP. Two days ago he staged I sit in against the France government and demanded to expel the Ambassador of France and asked the government to ban the French products in country.
