Rawalpindi: Due to Corona virus spread, five areas of Rawalpindi were under samrt lockdown, official told this scribe.
District administration of Rawalpindi and Islamabad had noticed the rise of Covid-19 case in these areas and order to seal the five areas of garisson city till Nov.28.
It has reported that more than five people died due to Covid-19 in Islamabad and adjacent city Taxila and 497 contracted the Corona virus. Administration also noticed that the positivity ratio in these areas has dropped to 7.14 which was 11.78pc a day before.
Deputy Commissioner Anwarul Haq told media that the affected areas were identified with the help of data provided by PITB.
Home department issued a notification to seal Defence Housing Authority Phase-I sector C, Gulshanabad, Street 10 on Hali Road, Allama Iqbal Street in Muslim Town Block B4 and Bahria Town Phase-III till Nov 28, added deputy commissioner.
Deputy commissioner also said that the number of Covid-19 cases were increased in these areas so the government has to decided to seal tha areas.

Mr.Haq also shared the details of awareness campaign launched by the district administration to adopt the sops as it is everyone’s duty to take prevent measures to control the Corona virus.
