Governor Punjab Ch. Muhammad Sarwar, in a ceremony, has awarded the Shield of Honor for the Principal PGMI/LGH Prof. Dr. Al-freed Zafar who specially thanked the Governor of Punjab for this encouragement.

He said that he and his team along with the Government are always ready to accept any challenge regarding the health of the people and the medical community will never back down from their professional services. He assured that in all kinds of circumstances, doctors, nurses and paramedical community will not spare any effort in fulfilling the primary responsibility of serving humanity and In Sha Allah, through joint efforts, they will succeed in the second wave of Corona as well.
In his talk with Principal PGMI, Governor Punjab Ch. Muhammad Sarwar said that the nation is proud of those who risked their lives for its sake and while paying tributes to the people associated with the health sector for their extraordinary services during the Corona outbreak, he said that there is no doubt that doctors, nurses and paramedics continued to treat patients suffering from coronavirus without caring for their lives and during this struggle many health professionals also lost their lives.
Governor Punjab also lauded the arrangements of Principal AMC Prof. Al-freed for the excellent management and special care for the treatment of corona patients at LGH. Other officials were also present on the occasion. Later, the Governor Punjab awarded him an honorary shield in recognition of his services as the Principal AMC/LGH and congratulated him on this achievement.” , the statement says.
