Mirpur: A major city of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has declared the highest in coronavirus positive rate which increased to 24.8% which showed the alarming situation in the state.
According to data released by the NCOC, four cities of the country recorded the highest rate of positive when test were conducted there and Mirpur remain on the top of the list. Other three cities are Hyderabad, Karachi and Peshawar.
On Nov.28 the situation of Mirpur was a little bit better and positive rate of the tests were 8.4 % but on Nov.29 it went to sky and ratio was 24.8 %. Government of AJK has imposed complete lockdown in the state but the situation is still not under control.
Azad Kashmir has 6556 active corona cases and 161 patients were died in this pandemic and morality rate is 2.4% which is highest in country. According to the details Muzaffarabad has highest number of corona patients and figure raised to 2646 and Mirpur is at second with 1178. According to 2017 census the population of Mirpur is 124352.

The World Health Organization(WHO) has issued the guidelines to open the economy if the positivity ratio ramain below 5%.
Hyederabad Sindh recorded at second and positivity ratio reached to 23.3% followed by Karachi with 19.7% and Peshawar with 11.1%.
