Lahore: MDCAT 2020 result is expected in next 10 days, a senior official of Pakistan medical Commission briefed today.
Vice-President of PMC told that more than 125,000 candidates have registered for the MDCAT 2020 that was held today all across Pakistan.
“Only 138 students informed the PMC about them being COVID-19 positive and we will take their exam on December 13,” Ali Raza told.
“The PMC will finalise the MDCAT results in the next 7 to 10 days”, he added.
Vice President told that he himself has visited several examination centres in Islamabad And Rawalpindi and also have reviewed all the arrangements in different cities across Pakistan but no complains were found about the violations of Covid-19 SOPs.
“I asked students about the implementation of coronavirus SOPs and syllabus and they were satisfied with the steps,” the officials told.
“They were hopeful of good results.”
The PMC took immediate actions on the leaked papers in Peshawar. The law enforcement teams were asked to catch the culprits involved in the leaking of MDCAT paper.
“Even the PMC did not have the paper so after the test started and we compared it with the one leaked on social media and found it to be fake.”
The Vice-President briefed that the commission have been working on a centralised information system which would help them access information in real-time.
