Peshawar: Professor Dr.Almas Begum Afridi passed away due to coronavirus here on last day. She was professor and Head of Department of gyneacology in Nasser Teaching Hospital, Ghandara University Peshawar.
She graduated from Punjab University in 1976 ,did her DGO from Ireland and FRCS from UK. She got retirement from Khyber Teaching Hospital as Assistant Professor of gyneacology .
She joined Kabir Medical College in 2005 and on her last days she had joined Nasser Medical College as Professor and Head of gyneacology department.
She contracted coronavirus and passed away.
