ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has witnessed another deadliest day as 75 people died due to corona virus in last twenty four hours and 2,829 new COVID-19 cases reported in the countey.

National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) issued the statistics that 35,197 people were tested for corona and found 2329 positive to Covid-19. Positivity ratio stands at 8.04 percent. Total number of deaths reached to 8,166. Yesterday was the deadliest day after the July 9.

Statistics also showed that 345,365 patients have recovered from the novel corona virus so far and 2,079 recovered in last twenty four hours. Total number of active case at national level stands at 49,780.
Federal cabinet has already approved the recommendations of CNOC to procure corona virus magazine and 150 million dollars have allocated for this purpose.
The condition of 2,244 patients is declared critical in the country.

Here is a summary of cases registered in different parts of the country. Sindh has 175,642, Punjab 120,356, KP 47,701, Islamabad Capital 30,748, GB 4,666 and Ajk has 6,982 active corona virus patients.
It was Sindh where the death ratio was highest last day with 27. Virus detection ratio in Sindh is at 13.2 percent. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that total number of deaths in the provide has reached to 2,962.
