Corona Virus takes down another politician and this time it striked Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. He has been tested positive for Co-VID 19 this Monday told the officials.
“[Buzdar] had mild symptoms (fever and flu) since last night and is in self-isolation as per the advice of doctors.” told by the focal person of Chief Minister Azhar Mashwani.
Azhar Mashwani also told that the chief minister Usman Buzdar had been advised by the doctors to take complete rest and to stop his political activity. He also gave his well wishes for Usman Buzdar’s fast recovery.
Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan ,Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Information, blamed PDM (Pakistan Democratic Movement) for this rapid increase in corona cases. She said that this is the result of their conspiracy that caused increase in coronavirus.
“Despite following all precautionary measures, the Punjab chief minister has tested positive,” she said.
505 cases and 34 deaths recorded during the last 24 hours. The total risen to 131,933 and the death rate is 3,638.
The provincial government had put lockdown in 40 areas. 22 areas of Lahore have been sealed, nine of Rawalpindi, four in Gujranwala, three in Gujrat and 2 in Hafizabad respectively.
A senior Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department officials told that people are rapidly violating the SOPs during the second wave of the pandemic.
Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain wished Buzdar an “early recovery and the best of health”.
