PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said on Thursday that he is positive to Covid-19 and quarantine himself at home. He will not attend the ceremony of his elder sister Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari which is scheduled on Nov.27.
It is also evident that he will not physically present in the next agitation rally in Multan which is scheduled on Nov.30 however he will work from home.
In a message on twitter, Bilawal Bhutto announced that he is facing mild symptoms of Covid-19 and will address the PPP foundation day via video link. He also advised everyone to wear mask so that people should be safe.
People across the board sent him third prayers for the early requiry. Senator Mushahid Ullah wished him early recovery.
KP Health Minister Taimur Jhagra advised the Chairman PPP to call 1700 helpline which is providing health service for the patients of coronavirus,”To everyone sitting on stage at the PDM jalsa, if in Pakhtunkhwa please call on the 1700 helpline and get yourself tested through our rapid response teams”.
“[The govt of KP] cares about everyone’s health; all tests are free of charge. Wear a mask!”
Government ministers alreading advising the opposition to stop the public gatherings and rallies so that the virus be curtailed.
Prime Minister Imran Khan already appealled the nation to cooperate with administration to defeat the second wave of covid-19 by observing standard operating procedures. He also sent a clear message to the opposition that he is not willing to give them NRO.“The government will no more allow the opposition to continue holding its public meetings and creating potential threat to masses’ lives,” PM Imran said, referring to the Islamabad High Court’s observation in an order that public gatherings had become a heightened threat for the public.
A day earlier the personal secretary of Bilawal Bhutto declared positive to covid-19 when he developed symptoms. He was accompanying the chairman in GB election compaign.
