AP & 4 SENIOR REGISTRARS SELECTED BY PPSC JOINS PINS

Lahore, January 26:The Specialized Health Care & Medical Education Department has appointed an Assistant Professor and 4 Senior Registrars selected by the Punjab Public Service Commission and posted them to the Punjab Institute of Neuro Sciences(PINS). They have joined their services and taken over the charge in the relevant departments.

          Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Executive Director, Punjab Institute of Neurosciences, while congratulating the new doctors appointed through PPSC, expressed the hope that they would discharge their duties and responsibilities efficiently in accordance with their official decorum by fulfilling, humanitarian and medical requirements.  He added that the best working of these doctors will lead to the good name of the Institute. It is worth mentioning that these newly appointed doctors include Dr. Muhammad Hassan Raza Assistant Professor while Senior Registrars included Dr. Hassan Ali Khosa, Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq, Dr. Imran Ali and Dr. Hassaan Hashmi. A reception was also given at Neuro Surgery Unit-1 in which a large number of senior and young doctors attended and congratulated them while the appointees expressed their commitment to keep the integrity of this sacred department high and earn good name for the Institution. They expressed happiness over their appointment and attributed the success to the prayers of their parents and the hard work of teachers.

          Speaking on the occasion, ED PINS Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood said that the medical profession is very sacred field and those associated with it should give priority to the service of humanity and the pleasure of Allah instead of their financial position. He said that people associated with the health sector can earn the best income from their skills in the world as well as the hereafter due to which the society looks at them with utmost respect. Prof. Khalid Mahmood urged the young doctors to come up to the high hopes of the sick people and use all their abilities to fulfill their hopes by serving the suffering humanity day and night.
