Peshawar: It has learnt that 7 patients who were suffering from coronavirus and was on oxygen died in Khyber Teaching Hospital as oxygen cylinders were not reached from Rawalpindi on time.
Hospital authorities said that this incident took place on Saturday as patients who were on oxygen were not provided continue supply.
It has also learnt that the patients in other wards are also facing the same problem. Hospital has started an investigation that who is responsible for this act.
The spokesperson of the hospital confirmed the incident and told the media that hospital used to receive oxygen supply from Rawalpindi but on Saturday hospital ran out of the oxygen. He said that hospital need more supply of oxygen in winter. An inquiry has initiated to find out the reason.
